Earrings
Studs, hoops and drops in yellow gold, sterling silver and white gold – the widest entry-level range in the catalog. Backing type is the practical decision: friction backs are quick, screw backs are more secure for a stone you would not want to lose. Note that pierced earrings cannot be returned once dispatched, for hygiene reasons that are standard across the industry, so confirm metal sensitivity and drop length before ordering.

Gold Earrings
Most gold earrings here are 14K yellow gold, with white gold, sterling silver, a few 10K and two-tone pairs and a single rose gold stud. Hoops and studs make up most of the range, with a few drops and chandelier styles.
The hoops are mainly 14K yellow gold, from small huggies that sit close to the lobe to larger statement hoops, and include textured, diamond-cut and twisted designs. Most close with a hinged snap back or snap lock, where the post swings into a catch and clicks shut. Larger hoops are worth checking for weight, because heavier earrings stretch a piercing over years of wear. Huggie hoops, a couple of which are offered here, sit snugly against the lobe and pair well with a stud in a second piercing.
Studs sit flush and suit almost everyone. Metal studs such as ball and knot designs sit alongside the diamond studs, which include lab-grown diamond pairs in 14K white or yellow gold and a few pairs labelled natural diamond, several of them bezel-set. A couple of studs use cubic zirconia, which the listing names. For diamond earrings, the carat figure quoted is usually the total weight of the pair, so a 1/4 ct. tw. pair holds about an eighth of a carat per ear.
The backing is stated on most listings. Push backs are quick but can loosen over a day of wear, so check them now and then. Hinged snap backs and snap locks latch shut and hold more securely; omega backs clip behind the lobe and suit heavier pieces; French wires hook through for drops.
Before you order, note that pierced earrings cannot be returned, for hygiene reasons, as set out in our Return & Refund Policy. Our care guide explains how to keep gold and silver clean, including how to clean plated silver without removing the plating.
Can I return earrings?
Pierced earrings cannot be returned, for hygiene reasons; this is stated in our Return & Refund Policy. Please check the style, size and backing before you order.
What earring back is most secure?
Of the backs used here, hinged snap backs and snap locks, which latch shut, hold most securely. Push backs are convenient but should be checked regularly.
Are 14K gold earrings hypoallergenic?
We do not make that claim. 14K gold is about 58 percent gold and the remainder is alloy metals that vary by piece. If you react to certain metals, check the listed metal and consult your doctor.
Are the diamond studs natural or lab-grown?
Each listing says which. Most diamond studs here are lab-grown, and a few pairs are labelled natural diamond.
