IMPERVORA (“we”, “us”) operates impervora.com. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it. We collect the minimum we need to run the store and we do not sell your personal information.
Information You Give Us
- Order information — name, billing and shipping address, email address, telephone number
- Account information — username, password (stored only as a cryptographic hash, never in readable form), saved addresses and order history
- Communications — the content of emails and support enquiries you send us
- Marketing preferences — your email address and consent status if you subscribe to our newsletter
Information Collected Automatically
- Device and usage data — IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URL, pages viewed and time spent
- Cookies — small files used to keep your cart and session working, remember preferences, and measure site performance
Payment Information
We never see or store your full card number. Card details are captured and processed directly by our PCI-DSS compliant payment provider. We receive only a confirmation of success or failure, the card brand, and the last four digits — enough to identify your payment on an order, and nothing more.
Why We Use Your Information
- To process, fulfil, and deliver your orders, and to handle returns and refunds
- To communicate with you about your order and respond to support enquiries
- To detect, prevent, and investigate fraud and abuse
- To comply with our tax, accounting, and other legal obligations
- To send marketing email, where you have consented — you may withdraw consent at any time
- To measure and improve how our website performs
Who We Share It With
We share personal information only with service providers who need it to perform a function on our behalf, and only to the extent required. These include:
- Payment processors — to authorize and settle transactions
- Shipping carriers — to deliver your order and provide tracking
- Our hosting provider — which stores the site and its database
- Analytics and email providers — to measure site performance and send communications you have opted into
We may also disclose information where required by law, court order, or valid legal process, or to protect our rights, property, or safety. We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising.
How Long We Keep It
Order records are retained for a minimum of seven years to satisfy tax and accounting requirements. Account information is kept while your account is open. Marketing contact data is kept until you unsubscribe. Analytics data is retained on a rolling basis and is not tied to your identity.
Security
Our site is served exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections, and payment processing is handled entirely by a PCI-DSS compliant provider. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security; if we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.
Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete
- Request deletion of your information, subject to our legal retention obligations
- Object to or restrict certain processing
- Receive your information in a portable, machine-readable format
- Withdraw consent to marketing at any time, without affecting prior processing
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): you additionally have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect and to be free from discrimination for exercising your rights. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined under the CPRA.
Residents of the EEA and UK (GDPR): we process your information on the legal bases of contractual necessity (to fulfil your order), legitimate interest (fraud prevention, service improvement), consent (marketing), and legal obligation (tax and accounting). You have the right to lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority.
To exercise any of these rights, email Concierge@impervora.com. We will verify your identity before acting and respond within the period required by applicable law.
Cookies
Strictly necessary cookies keep your shopping cart and login session working and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. Analytics and preference cookies are optional. You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings, though doing so may prevent checkout from functioning.
Children’s Privacy
Our store is not directed at children under 16 and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.
International Transfers
We operate from the United States. If you order from outside the US, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection law may differ from that of your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
Changes and Contact
We will post any changes to this policy on this page with an updated date. For any privacy question or request, contact Concierge@impervora.com, IMPERVORA, 2325 E Camelback Rd., Suite 400 PMB 1015, Phoenix, AZ 85016, United States.
