Before you choose
Choosing a loose gemstone
A loose gemstone lets you choose the exact stone first and design the piece around it. Start with the variety and colour you want, then compare shape, size and price across the stones currently available. If you already have a serial number for a stone, you can look it up directly.
Colour, clarity, cut and size all affect how a gemstone looks, and the details that matter most differ from one variety to another. Treatments are common in coloured gemstones and should always be disclosed; ask your Jewelry Concierge for the disclosure on any stone you are considering.
Once you have a stone in mind, your Jewelry Concierge can advise on settings, metals and sizing and quote the finished piece.

- Yes. Enter the serial number in the search to go straight to that stone.
- Is the price shown the final price?
- The price shown is the current IMPERVORA retail price for the loose stone. Setting, sizing and any additional work are quoted separately. Pricing and availability change continuously.
- Can you set a gemstone into a ring or pendant?
- Yes. Send the Jewelry Concierge the serial number and describe the piece you have in mind, and we will advise on settings and quote the finished piece.
- Are gemstones treated?
- Many coloured gemstones are. Ask the Jewelry Concierge for the treatment disclosure on the specific stone before you order.
